Information Collection
The IYO® Official Directory is a public registry. We collect and display information regarding International Yoga Schools (IYS®) and International Yoga Teachers (IYT®) strictly for the purpose of credential verification and public discovery. This information is provided directly by authorized administrators.
Visitor Analytics
When you view a teacher's profile, we automatically record non-personally identifiable information, including your IP address and the timestamp of your visit. This data is used solely to provide accurate view counts for our registered teachers and to monitor the security and performance of the directory.
Comments
When you leave a comment on a teacher's profile, the name and message you provide become publicly visible on that profile. Comments are subject to moderation and may be removed by administrators at any time.
Data Retention
Visitor analytics logs, including IP addresses, are retained securely and are accessible only to verified administrators. Public comments are retained indefinitely alongside the teacher's profile, or until removed by an administrator.
